Blaggard's Moon
This month the CSFF brings you Blaggard's Moon by George Bryan Polivka. Not only will you be blown away by the cover but the writing is top notch too. You got to love a story that starts out with a main character who's unconcerned about being tied to a post suspended above a seaside lagoon. 'The piranha, now, they were somewhat vexing.' That's good stuff. And a great way to start a book.

I completely enjoyed the characters in the book. So many unexpected turns for me....
Hi, Jeff. Thanks again for participating in the tour. I agree that the opening was perfect. It really set the tone for the story. For me, having read the Trophy Chase Trilogy that follows, Delany's situation also created suspense from that opening--how was he going to get out of this one? That question drove the story, even as I became more and more engaged with Jenta and co.
And I agree. The cover is really outstanding.

I enjoyed "hearing" Delaney's voice, the way he viewed his situation, remembered the tales and his comrades, and pondered what constituted an idea. A great character.
