Scarlet Blog Tour

I'm glad I'm not the only one who couldn't read it fast!
There's just so much meat there. I'm wanting to saok it all in and not speed through, missing those wonderful nuggets. :D
"Even so, if it hadn't a' been for a spear through my leg bone ... I have a cell - four walls of stone and a damp dirt floor covered with rotting straw and rancid rushes ... and I would not be here now with a leg on fire .."
I'm just surprised the poor chap's lasted so long - he ought to be riddled with septicaemia, high as a kite with a fever, incapable of stringing a coherent sentence together ... and not an antibiotic in sight. :)
Eeh, they were tough in them days!
Excuse moi, monsieur, you are most mistaken about ze French. Ve are ze most civilised nacion on ze earth and 'ave always bin so. Even your President, Monsieur Bush 'as changed 'is mind and realised zat ve are les mieux amies for ze USA. Zut alors! 'ow dare you compare ze hommes Francais avec zose damned Normans. Zey are ze descendants of zose,'ow you say, damned Norsemen. Zey 'ave no culture, no savoir-faire: zey are cochons!
