New Places I've Bookmarked

Here are a few blogs I've recently bookmarked that I find interesting:

Two Write Hands
Both clever and witty. A dangerous combination.

Von Darkmoor's Thoughts
Enthusiastically seeking publication.

The Truth About Writing
A novelist who's cataloging his steps toward publication.

Allie's Musings
A blog on writing and life and how the two intersect.

And here is a local conference that I'm thinking about attending:
Surrey International Writers' Conference

Yes, thank you for the plug and link, I definitely appreciate it. I'll reciprocate tomorrow when I'm more awake and better understand that which I do.

I'm planning on attending that conference too. I live in Coquitlam. It's a little expensive, but they got Robert J Sawyer last year, should it should be great for us genre writers.

This is a link to another great local conference. This one is a little less expensive, and I hear that dave duncan attends every year: http://www.vcon.ca/

Seeing as how I slammed Dave Duncan's 'Children of Chaos' in a review I might skip that one until I find a good book of his.

I read that review, but not the book, so I can't comment it in particular.

I do like Duncan's early stuff. The Seventh Sword of Chioxin is especially brilliant. The "A Man of his Word" series is good as well.

If you go to the con page, you'll see that the guests of honour include Peter S. Beagle, author of the sublime novel, "The Last Unicorn". This is not a con you should skip.
